Gavin & Ami marry on a very crisp December afternoon….

Monday, January 21st, 2013

I used to work with Gavin at Phillips, so when I got the email telling me he was getting married – I was over the moon for him, and chuffed to bits that they asked me to cover the photography on their big day.  Love it.

At the beginning of December, it was absolutely bitterly cold…. but dry!!!

We started off at Ami’s parents house for the bridal preparations, and all was lovely and calm and organised.

I loved taking pictures of Ami, she was really natural in front of the camera…..

It’s great when a bride is organised, which Ami definately was.  I means we get a few moments spare to grab a couple of shots with parents before I leave for the church.

So off to the chuch, this time it was at St Mary’s in Reigate, a beautiful chuch.  Although no parking whatsoever, I had to park soooooo far away, and literally run down to the church, arriving at the church (rather out of breath) to find an extremely dapper looking Gavin.  With literally 1 minute spare for a quick shot, before Ami arrived!!  oh the pressures of a wedding photographer!!!!

It was a fantastic ceremony……..

We ventured outside to grab a few shots in the church grounds.  And boy was it cold, Ami luckily had a gorgeous Teal Velvet cloak, which was gorgeous, but even with that on, Ami was still bitterly cold.

So a little journey took us onto our next venue Yew Lodge in East Grinstead, where a gorgeous reception was held.  Gavin and Ami had wamed up a little (possibly with a little help from the champers in the car on the way over :-) ) and they were ready to brave it again.  This time, not chilly at all……

Yew Lodge is a gorgeous venue, and the Teal colour scheme was great…

And the celebrations were off, and the wine was flowing……

To finish with some fabulous dancing….

Ami & Gavin, you make a really fantastic couple, and your friends and family are brilliant.  It was lovely to see a few of the ‘ole Phillips guys there too!! Hope to see you again soon.

Raymond & Deborah’s Wedding at Wandsworth Town Hall

Monday, January 21st, 2013

Raymond was recommended to me by another photographer, and bless, they booked me without even meeting me or seeing any of my work… how trusting was that!!!

Such a gorgeous couple, Raymonds jokes kept everyone amused and Deborah had something soooooooo cute about her.

They tied the knot back at the beginning of December, on a very very COLD crisp morning. The wedding took place at 9am, rise and shine everyone!!!

Wandsworth Town Hall is home to one of the nicest Registry Office’s i’ve seen.  It’s a stunning building, with amazing architecture.

Deborah had chosen a cadburys purple theme for her wedding, and her purple dress suited her perfectly.

It was a really sweet ceremony!!  2 very happy people.  Thankfully Deborah was wise enough to be wearing a little furry snug jacket, as it was absolutely bitterly cold outside! But fair play to them both, they bared it out, and we were able to get some lovely shots outside with the family!

And then for some shots of the gorgeous couple…..

Time to warm up for 5 minutes I think, and pop inside to capture some of the grandure that awaited us……

I love the colours of autumn, and there were just a few vibrant colours still left on the almost bare trees…..

I always love to capture your guests at a wedding.  This was a small party, so I also had the time to grab a cheeky shot of all their guests too – lovely!!!……

Raymond had then booked a surprise for all his guests, to be whipped away for a lovely lunch.  Great touch to a fantastic morning……

A great morning had by all, and it was an absolute pleasure being with everyone.  I wish you all the happiness in the world guys.
